Giles Hutchins is a pioneering practitioner and senior adviser at the fore-front of the revolution in organizational and leadership consciousness and developmental approaches that enhance personal, organizational and systemic agility and vitality. He is author and co-author of several leadership and organizational development papers, and the books The Nature of Business (2012), The Illusion of Separation (2014), Future Fit (2016) and Regenerative Leadership (2019). Chair of The Future Fit Leadership Academy and Founder of Leadership Immersions, co-founder of Biomimicry for Creative Innovation and Regenerators, he runs a 60 acre leadership centre at Springwood Farm, an area of outstanding natural beauty near London, UK. Previously held corporate roles - Head of Practice for KPMG, and Global Head of Sustainability for Atos (150,000 employees, over 40 countries). Masatoshi Funabashi
Masatoshi Funabashi, PhD.Founder & President, Synecoculture AssociationResearcher, Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Inc. （Sony CSLHaving studied biology and mathematical science to master's level at the University of Tokyo, Masatoshi Funabashi went on to obtain a PhD in Physics at the École polytechnique in Paris. He is a licensed veterinarian. Since 2010 he has been at Sony CSL researching a field that sits at the intersection of sustainability, health and the natural world. He advocates “Synecoculture™,” a method of open-field agriculture that mutually enhances biodiversity and productivity based on the multi-functionality of ecosystems. His main initiative has been a pilot project for the proof of concept in Japan and Sub-Saharan Africa. He also founded the Synecoculture Association in 2018 and is now extending the boundaries of Synecoculture to ”Augmented Ecosystems” for the sustainability of both human society and Anthropocene ecosystems.

Fumihiro Hoshino
Born in 1946, at Daishobo Inn in Dewa Sanzan, Haguro-area Yamagata, Japan. In 1971 he succeeded as the 13th generation of Daishobo Inn. In 2007, he served as the Matsu no Hijiri of the Fuyu no Mine ascetic practices, the highest training of Dewa Sanzan. He is a director of the Dewa Sanzan Shrine Board and a director of the NPO Koueki no Furusato Tsukuri Tsuruoka. He has led more than 1,000 practitioners and has been pursuing the revival of Yamabushi (Mountain Priest) throughout Japan. He also interacts with people overseas. In order to make the most of the wisdom of the mountain priests, he has been giving talks on how to live called "Haguro Yamabushi's street preaching" throughout Japan.He is the author of "Live as You Feel" and "The Answer is in Your Feelings".

Takashi Iba is a Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management and the Graduate School of Media and Governance of Keio University. He received a Ph.D. in Media and Governance from Keio University. He is the president of CreativeShift Lab Inc., which provides materials for utilizing pattern languages and services to support creating new pattern languages. Alongside, he is a board member of The Hillside Group, which promotes the use of patterns and pattern languages and also sponsors several conferences and publications on pattern languages, and a board member of MITSUKARU+WAKARU, a general incorporated association for generative learning in everyday life.
Dr. Iba focuses on creation and proposed Creative Systems Theory and the Principles of Deep Creation, based on autopoietic systems theory, phenomenology, pragmatism, and Eastern philosophy. He envisions “Creative Society” as the next society after the current Information Society, and contributes to practical research that supports “Natural and Creative Living,” where each person exhibits creativity on a daily basis.

Masaru Tanaka
Born by the Lake Biwa (otsu, Shiga Pref.)in 1943. Emeritus professor of Kyoto University.
He has studied the early life history of fishes for 40 years, finding the early phase of juveniles aggregate near-shore coastal areas. He also recognized the boundary areas are enriched by terrestrial forest ecosystems as well as highly vulnerable to human activities. Based on these backgrounds he proposed a newly integrated studies on the linkage among forest, sato (human habitation) and sea which covers from the headwater to the ocean called as “H to O Studies”.
After the massive earthquake and tsunami which occurred on 11 March 2011 along the coast of northern Pacific Ocean of Japan he organized a volunteer research team and has conducted comprehensive researches on the effect of the earthquake and tsunami on coastal marine ecosystem in order to restore local communities under collaboration of H to O Studies and NPO movement catch-copied by“The sea is longing for the forest”

Tomoko Sauvage
Tomoko Sauvage is a Japanese musician and artist who is best known for her long-time sound experimentations on her unique instrument using water, ceramics and subaquatic microphones. Her research is grounded on live-performance-based practice incorporating elementary and unstable materials, ritualistic yet playful gestures, the improvisation with environments and the use of chance as a compositional method. Sauvage’s performances have been presented internationally including Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art, V&A Museum (London), Roskilde Festival, Centre Pompidou Metz and Nyege Nyege Festival (Uganda). Her installation piece has recently been exhibited at Sharjah Art Foundation (UAE) and Galerie Chantal Crousel (Paris). Lukas Ley
Lukas Ley is a social anthropologist teaching at the Institute of Anthropology, Heidelberg University. He received his PhD from the University of Toronto in 2017. He is a member of the DFG funded research network ‘Infrastructure and the remaking of Asia through adapting, orchestrating and cooperating.' He also works as assistant editor for Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale. In 2019, he co-founded urban anthropology networks within the European Association of Social Anthropologists and the German Association for Social and Cultural Anthropology. His current research is broadly concerned with urban marginalization, temporality, and the material environment within post-colonial urban landscapes. His first monograph entitled “Building on Borrowed Time” (forthcoming, University of Minnesota Press) considers the temporalities of tidal flooding in Semarang, Indonesia, and will appear in 2020.

With an interest in how the universe was born, Kosuke studied elementary particle physics in college. Since 2018, he starts a career as a poet and artist. He produces poetic artworks with innovative expressions such as “Fureru Uta,” “Chikyu, Kono Kodokuna Seimei Exhibit,” and “Kodou Tokei” with time as its theme and starts his project “pray with kodou.” A common theme of his works is awe of life. Hiroshi Yamada
Through his long career in coaching, he was aware of hidden anxieties that lurk within human beings. After the repeated experiences of intuitively immersing himself in the forest, he gained the insight that this anxiety comes from the delusion created by humans themselves that they are disconnected from the logic of life. Since then, he has been guiding people to remember the fundamental senses that all beings are connected to each other. He has resonated deeply with the book Regenerative Leadership and works together with Ecological Memes. He is also a practitioner of Shugendo that has been practised in Japan for over 1400 years.

Moved to Berlin in 2013. Naho experiments all facets of our ordinary urban life and makes her life a piece of art. Objects of her experimentation range from work style, profession, a place of living, time, money, identity, relationships to the cities as well as the ecosystem. In recent years, she has been to South Africa to search for an emerging role of “Human Animal” on Earth. She found it and now is creating a new urban design methodology called “Give Space” in order to play the role and practice in a beyond-anthropocentric way. She has lately released a teaser of her short essay-documentary film, “Journey to Lioness,” a story which conveys the message of Give Space. She is also co-founder of NION Haus Neukölln, a community neighborhood design project in Berlin.

Kanako Uchino is the first Japanese crew member of the traditional voyaging canoe, Hokule’a. She joined numerous voyages including the historical voyage from Hawai’i to Japan. She studied oceanography at University of Hawaii graduate school and engaged in research at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology on anthropogenic impacts on coral reel ecology.

Co-founder of DYCLE - Diaper Cycle, in Berlin Germany. Originally, a conceptual artist, exploring the human role in energy and material cycles, through participatory art interventions, during the last 10 years. After carrying out soil projects in Europe and Asia, she mastered the production of Terra Preta soil substrate, whilst understanding that parents are highly interested in reducing the huge amounts of diaper waste. Diaper Cycle is a system for these parents, by offering 100% compostable diaper inlays, which after use, are transformed into healthy soil, ready to plant fruit trees.
